Posterolateral corner injuries of the knee in the athletes, are the situations that threatens the athlete`s sports life. Posterolateral corner injuries may be overlooked because anterior and posterior cruciate ligament injuries are more common with rotational trauma. In this case, treating only the cruciate ligament may endanger the athlete`s treatment and sports life. Surgical treatment is always the preferred option in these types of scans and has proven superiority over conservative treatment. Proper evaluation of the knee with physical and radiological examination is important in determining surgical indication and technique. Rehabilitation after surgical treatment is as important as surgery.
